Children’s and Minors’ Data
Our Services are not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Data from, children under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Data from a child under 18 years old without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

Contractor license and insurance information.
Payment information, including credit card or debit card information and information about the payment methods and services (such as Stripe) you use in connection with the Services.

Location information, including general geographic location such as country, state or province, or city and precise geolocation, if you have enabled and consented to location information collection.

Technical information includes information about your internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Services, such as clickstream information to, through, and from our Services (including date and time), products that you view or search for; page response times, download errors, length of your visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from a page.
If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with Personal Data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as Personal Data.

Automatically Through Our Services
As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect information that may include Personal Data. Please note that some Services features may be unavailable as a result.
When you interact with the Services, there are third parties that may use automatic collection technologies to collect information about you or your device.
These third parties include:
Advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers.
Analytics companies.
Your device manufacturer.
Your internet or mobile service provider.
Third-party payment processing providers (e.g., Stripe).
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

Advertising, marketing, cookies, and other tracking technologies choices:

If you disable or refuse cookies or similar tracking files, some Services features may be inaccessible or not function properly. Promotions by ClearBid. If you do not wish us to use your information to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt out by emailing ClearBid at support@clearbidapp.com.
Targeted Advertising by ClearBid. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target audience preferences, you can opt out by emailing ClearBid at support@clearbidapp.com. For this opt out to function, you must have your browser set to accept all browser cookies.
Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you do not want us to share your Personal Data with third parties for advertising and marketing purposes, you can opt out by emailing ClearBid at support@clearbidapp.com.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights related to your Personal Data, including:
Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your Personal Data and access a copy of the Personal Data we process. To the extent feasible, data will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information and it will be included in the response to your access request.
Correction. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your Personal Data that we maintain, taking into account the information’s nature and processing purpose.
Deletion. You may request that we delete Personal Data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.

California Residents
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq. and collectively referred to as the “CCPA”), subject to certain limitations. The obligations and rights in this section do not apply to Personal Data we collect from or about job applicants, vendors, suppliers, independent contractors, current or former full-time, part-time, and temporary employees and staff, officers, directors, or owners of ClearBid or residents of any state other than California. No user of the Site will be discriminated against for exercising their rights under the CCPA.
As described in this Policy, we may collect various categories of personal information, including without limitation, Personal Data, from users of our Services to support, analyze, personalize, and improve our Services, engage in advertising, marketing and promotional activities, process sales, execute our internal operations, secure and protect our business, and comply with legal obligations.
Subject to certain exemptions, if you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you the following rights:
Request to Know. California residents have a right to request a copy of particular information we have collected about you, up to two (2) times in a 12-month period, subject to certain exemptions. We will deliver this information, free of charge, by mail or electronically in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows the requester to transmit this information to another entity without hindrance, which may include:
categories of Personal Data collected;
types of sources from which the Personal Data is collected;
business and/or commercial purposes for collecting and selling a user’s Personal Data; and
the categories of third parties with whom we have shared Personal Data.
Request to Delete. California residents have a right to request that we delete any Personal Data about them that we have collected through our Services, subject to certain exceptions. If you are a California resident who makes such a request, once we receive and confirm your verifiable request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our Service Provider(s) to do any of the following:

Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with our normal operations and consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

Request to Correct. California residents have a right to request that we use commercially reasonable efforts to correct any personal information about them that we have collected which is inaccurate.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make one of the above requests related to your Personal Data. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. In order for us to act on one of these requests, we must be able to verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Data relates to you, and your request must:
Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Data or an authorized representative; and
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request and will not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Right to Opt-out of Sale of Personal Information. The CCPA gives California residents 16 years of age or older the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information at any time. Our Services are not intended for use by children, so we do not sell the personal information of consumers we know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the “right to opt-in”) from either the consumer who is at least 13 but not yet 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age. Consumers who opt-in to personal information sales may opt-out of future sales at any time.

Additionally, Texas, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and New Hampshire provide their state residents with certain rights, including the right to:

Access and delete certain Personal Data;
Correct inaccuracies in their Personal Data, taking into account the nature and processing purpose of the Personal Data;

How We Protect Your Personal Data
We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your Personal Data from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no website, mobile application, system, electronic storage, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data transmitted to, through, using, or in connection with the Services. In particular, email communications sent to or from the Services may not be secure, and you should carefully decide what information you send to us via such communications channels. Any transmission of Personal Data is at your own risk.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for taking steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized use, disclosure, and access.
How We Retain Your Personal Data
We keep the categories of Personal Data described in this Policy for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described or for as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Services, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain Personal Data. At the end of the retention period, Personal Data will be deleted, destroyed, or deidentified.
